Templates
Templates are the actual web pages. Some people
like to get other templates and use them. That is fine but it really
isn't your page. It is better to create your own template. In
this tutorial, I will show you how to create your own template.
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Title Here</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY BGCOLOR="hex code" TEXT="hex code" LINK="hex code" VLINK="hex
code">
</BODY></HTML>
That is the basic HTML template. Now, let me explain it.
You need to tell the internet user's computer that the file is a HTML document so you write <HTML>. All HTML tags (commands surrounded by < and >) have to end. At the bottom of the template you see the ending of the <HTML> tag. The ending tag is </HTML>. I will get into that in the Tags Tutorial.
Next you see the tag <HEAD>. That is the HEAD tag where all of the meta tags and the title go. Again, I will get into meta tags in tgeh Tags Tutorial. You see the <TITLE> tag where the page title goes. The TITLE tag ends with </TITLE> then the HEAD tag ends with </HEAD>.
Next is where the actual web page stuff goes. The BODY tag is what you see next. Here is where all of the page attributes are suchas the background color and the text and so on. Where you see "hex code", that is where the hex code goes. Hex codes can be found on the Hex Codes Section. Next is where the web page stuff goes which can be explained by reviewing this page.
After the BODY tag you see the BODY tag end with a </BODY> and then the HTML tag ends with a </HTML>. That is the basic template. Ofcourse it is completely costomzable. The only place you can really costomize is in between the BODY tags.
